Haworthia cymbiformis is a lovely dwarf species characterized by very plump and juicy leaves which are soft and swollen with stored water. It comes from a wide area, and a multitude of somewhat different looking forms are available under this name. It is very variable.
Haworthia are not considered difficult houseplants to grow. As with all succulents, the most dangerous situation is too much water—they should never be allowed to sit in water under any circumstances.
